Overview

The Building Services Technician will maintain the cleanliness of all internal facility space as well as the facilities' external perimeter on a daily basis, under the direction of the Building Services Supervisors. There are varying hours and shifts available based on event-related activity. Must be a team player and able to work nights and weekends, as needed.

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00 - $19.75.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with team members to support the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.
• Maintains cleanliness throughout the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, including public areas, event spaces, and other assigned areas.
• Performs routine cleaning duties, including vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, wiping and disinfecting surfaces, emptying trash receptacles, and performing other cleaning functions as assigned.
• Maintains clean, organized, and properly stocked supply areas to ensure necessary materials are readily available.
• Performs pre-show and post-show cleaning to ensure the facility is properly prepared for events and restored following their conclusion.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on the facility's event schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Demonstrated professional, dependable, and highly motivated demeanor.
• Ability to perform cleaning and housekeeping duties effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions and direction.
