Job Description:
The Web Assistant will assist the Florida Sea Grant (FSG) Web Developer and will be part of the communications department. The Assistant will be responsible for ongoing quality assurance and accessibility of the Florida Sea Grant program's flagship website (flseagrant.org), hosted files, and microsites. This 6-month appointment, with opportunity for renewal, will work with the Developer to improve compliance of website documents. The position will also organize and catalog media materials.
70% - Fix website broken links, misspellings, alt text, color contrast, and 508 compliance of documents
25% - Media management of video and photo galleries and create inventory lists
5% - Other duties as needed
