We are currently seeking talented Master's students for our Fall 2026 Strategic Student Program (SSP). This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to explore your interests, solve real-world problems, and apply your education in meaningful ways. Program Details


Position Type: Part-Time/Full-Time
Duration: 8–10 weeks
Preferred Locations: Phoenix, AZ or Boston, MA, Remote/Hybrid

Baseline Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship
  • Currently pursuing a Master's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Completed coursework in Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL
  • Solid understanding of hardware design and verification fundamentals
  • Expected graduation in 2026 or 2027

Internship Role: Functional Design/Verification Applications Engineer Intern – FV

As a Functional Verification (FV) Applications Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with Siemens' industry-leading functional verification tools. You'll support technical sales engagements, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions that exceed customer expectations.


You will:

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and sales teams to support customer engagements built around our AI solutions
  • Develop, document, and present a tutorial or demo that showcases Siemens' advanced verification management solutions centered around Agentic AI
  • Learn and apply verification methodologies, workflows, and technologies
  • Contribute to internal documentation and potentially customer-facing resources
  • Work independently and within a team to solve technical challenges


Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using VSCode, Git, and Linux
  • Comfortable creating and presenting technical presentations to an engineering audience
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and proactive in taking initiative
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work in a remote/work-from-home setting

You'll Benefit From
The hourly pay range for this position 18 - 50 per hour, based off of your projected graduation year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
