
Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator ensures accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy and leads to achieve departmental goals in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Essential Duties include:

Coordinates all shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling, labeling, packing and inspecting shipments.

Ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards and shipping regulations.

Monitors and maintains inventory control systems, resolving discrepancies as needed.

Communicates with carriers, suppliers and internal department to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

Maintains accurate records of shipments, receipts and returned goods.

Operates warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jack, etc.) as necessary.

Ensures warehouse is always neat and clutter free.

Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Candidates have the following:
- Two year related/relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or certification in logistics a plus
- Some automotive and/or heavy-duty truck parts experience preferred
- Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
