JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager, Program Management is responsible for leading the planning, governance, and execution of strategic programs across a UDX site or portfolio of work ensuring enterprise priorities are translated into integrated roadmaps and successfully delivered. This role partners closely with the Assistant Director, Program Planning & Delivery, Destination Go-To-Market teams, and cross-functional business leaders to align long-range strategy with execution through effective planning, prioritization, governance, and resource management.

This leader drives cross-functional coordination by providing visibility into program health, dependencies, capacity, risks, and investment priorities while ensuring alignment across their respective destinations and business functions. Through strong operational leadership, the Senior Manager enables consistent execution of the enterprise delivery model, integrates transformation initiatives into ongoing planning, and continuously improves the tools, processes, and governance that support scalable, predictable delivery across the portfolio.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Execution & Governance

  • Execute and uphold the enterprise program delivery model and governance standards
  • Support governance processes, including program reviews, status reporting, and risk management
  • Ensure adherence to planning, briefing, and activation standards across programs
  • Provide transparency into program performance, risks, dependencies, and milestones

Program Planning

  • Translate strategic priorities and long-range plans (LRP) into detailed, actionable program/destination plans
  • Support initiative prioritization and sequencing in alignment with business objectives
  • Coordinate integrated planning across teams to align scope, timelines, and dependencies
  • Maintain and evolve program & destination roadmaps to reflect changing business needs

Program Management Execution

  • Monitor day-to-day execution across multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
  • Identify, track, and manage cross-functional dependencies and risks
  • Partner with delivery teams to resolve blockers and maintain execution momentum

Resource & Capacity Management

  • Support resource planning and allocation aligned to program/destination priorities and investment tiers
  • Maintain visibility into team capacity, constraints, and workload balancing
  • Partner with functional leaders to ensure resources are effectively deployed
  • Help optimize resource utilization to improve delivery efficiency

Transformation Planning & Integration

  • Support integration of transformation initiatives into program and destination roadmaps
  • Ensure alignment between transformation efforts and ongoing program execution
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain cohesive delivery

Delivery Enablement

  • Enable consistent use of tools, templates, and processes for program planning and execution
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration and communication
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of program management practices and delivery frameworks
  • Provide actionable insights and reporting to leadership
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in project team leadership and large-scale program planning and implementation
  • Expert at stakeholder and partner management
  • Experience in executive communication, relationship building and decision making
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills, and be able to explain complex concepts both concisely and simply
  • Proven ability to maintain a high-level of client service
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong organizational and execution skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to translate strategic direction into actionable plans
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with program governance, planning tools, and resource management practices
  • Well developed, critical thinking and communication skills (written and oral)

EDUCATION:

  • Undergraduate degree (required) in marketing, technology, analytics or related fields.
  • MBA or equivalent masters degree (preferred).

EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years in PMO, progressive transformation and digital/marketing enablement
  • Preferred: Project management certification (PMI or similar) and/or certification in use of specific methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, etc.
  • Preferred: PMI Certification(s) including Project Management Professional, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner.
