Job Description for RN Med/Surg Orthopedics
Title: RN Med/Surg Orthopedics
Location: GAINESVILLE, FL 32614
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift Time:Nights Shifts (7p-7a) no call/ rotating weekends
Day Shift (7a-7p) no call/ rotating weekends
Minimum Experience:1+ Years of experience
Guaranteed Hours:36
Responsibilities:
1. Receive and process prescription orders accurately.
2. Prepare and package medications for dispensing.
3. Label and organize medication supplies and inventory.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy work area.
5. Assist with medication compounding and sterile product preparation.
6. Provide customer service and assistance at the pharmacy counter.
7. Process insurance claims and handle administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
1. Current license as a RN
2. Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider
3. Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
4. 1+ Years of experience as a RN in an Acute Care setting 5. Preferred However, would consider 1 year of LTAC experience (assessment and IV skills are what they are looking for)
