We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales performance across an assigned region and help build a stronger, more accountable field sales organization. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to win with contractors, distributors, municipalities, and key accounts while developing Territory Sales Managers into consistent, high-performing commercial leaders. They will manage and own customer accounts.
This is not a behind-the-desk sales management position. The right person will be visible in the field, riding with reps, supporting customer visits, participating in product demonstrations, helping close strategic opportunities, and reinforcing the activity, follow-up, and execution required to grow market share. Success requires someone who can move comfortably between high-level strategy and real-world field support.
The Regional Sales Manager will partner with regional and national leadership to drive revenue growth, improve territory coverage, strengthen pipeline discipline, and identify new business opportunities. This leader will coach and mentor sales team members, support recruiting and onboarding, monitor forecasts and performance metrics, and help ensure the region is aligned with company goals. They will also stay close to market trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and product opportunities that can impact regional performance.
We are looking for a proven sales leader with 8-10 years of progressive sales experience, ideally in contractor, distribution, construction materials, industrial, coatings, pavement, or related field-based environments. The ideal candidate has led outside sales teams, built strong customer relationships, managed large territories, and knows how to hold reps accountable while still supporting their growth.
This role requires strong communication, organization, technical aptitude, and comfort working in the field. Candidates should be able to understand product applications, support hands-on demonstrations, use CRM tools to manage pipeline visibility, and travel frequently throughout the region.
