Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing installations, replacements, repairs, and maintenance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues across all aspects of the plumbing industry
- Plan and execute jobs efficiently while ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Coordinate with customers to understand needs and provide clear explanations and estimates
- Maintain clean and safe work sites, adhere to all safety protocols and local codes
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding job status and any issues
- Use own tools and equipment as required (see Tools & Equipment below)
- Job scheduling and dispatch
- Creating and updating work orders, estimates, and invoices
- Recording time, material usage, and parts on jobs
- Accessing customer history, warranties, and service agreements
- Photo and note capture for job documentation
- Invoicing customers and processing payments (as applicable)
- Ability to generate and read service reports, quotes, and.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in all aspects of plumbing (residential and/or commercial)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and best practices
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid plumbing license or be willing to obtain as required by local regulations
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must provide own professional tools
- Familiarity with service routing, inventory checks, and real-time communication with dispatch
- Proficient with ServiceTitan or equivalent field service management software
