We are seeking a detail-oriented, patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role covers a weekly shift (Wednesdays) plus PRN coverage as needed - a great fit for an MA who wants flexible, recurring hours in a fast-paced dual-specialty environment.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support
- Perform blood draws (phlebotomy required) and manage lab requisitions
- Coordinate specimen handling and pickups with Quest Diagnostics
- Assist providers during both primary care and aesthetic procedures
- Perform EKGs, spirometry, ear lavages, and other in-office procedures
- Prepare and mix products for treatments, including Sculptra
- Maintain clean, organized, fully stocked treatment rooms and proper sterilization/infection control
Patient Care & Experience
- Room patients and complete intake, ensuring accurate forms, consents, and documentation
- Conduct follow-up calls to review treatment plans and support ongoing care
- Maintain treatment plans and patient histories in the EMR (Zenoti)
Administrative Support
- Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and input patient information
- Answer phones and assist with front office coordination
- Maintain accurate, timely charting, ensuring charts are closed
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (required)
- Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience (required)
- Experience with lab requisitions and Quest Diagnostics coordination (required)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Experience with EMR systems (Zenoti preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Experience in aesthetics or injectables is a plus, not required
- BLS Certification preferred
Schedule & Pay
- Part-time: once per week (Wednesdays), plus PRN as needed
- Pay: $20-25/hr
- In-person role
