Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintenance and repair of lift stations, pumps, motors, and other wastewater equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine cleaning
- Help troubleshoot equipment issues and replace parts such as bearings, packing, and valves
- Assist with electrical maintenance and motor repairs
- Maintain lift station facilities and housekeeping
- Complete work orders and maintenance records
- Participate in weekly rotating on-call duty, including weekends and holidays
- Follow all safety procedures and pre-task planning requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Construction or mechanical experience preferred
- Ability to obtain a Class "C" Wastewater Collection Systems License within 1 year
- Ability to work in industrial environments and perform physical labor
