Pre-kindergarten para-professional working with the teachers to teach and supervise the students.
- Collaborate with the lead PK teacher to implement lesson plans and activities designed to meet the educational and developmental needs of all students.
- Provide support to students who require additional assistance or accommodations to participate fully in classroom activities.
- Support the teacher by actively engaging students, facilitating discussions, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Lead small group activities under the guidance of the lead teacher, focusing on specific learning objectives and adapting instruction to accommodate learning styles and abilities.
- Assist children with varying exceptionalities in developing and maintaining independence in daily activities, including toileting, dressing, and self-care tasks.
- Assist in the collection and documentation of student progress data, including observations, assessments, and behavioral tracking.
