Responsibilities include providing instructional and behavioral support to students in an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) classroom. The paraprofessional will work under the direction of the ESE teacher to support individual and small-group instruction and assist with implementing classroom instructional and behavioral plans. Duties may include reinforcing skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and other academic areas; supporting student engagement and participation; assisting with classroom routines and transitions; and providing additional support to meet individual student needs. The paraprofessional will collaborate with the ESE teacher and other school staff to promote student learning, independence, positive behavior, and a safe and supportive classroom environment.
