Design robust DR strategies for AIX workloads, including:
IBM PowerHA / HACMP
Replication and backup solutions
Optimize RTO and RPO objectives.
Support disaster recovery migration planning, testing, and validation activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
15+ years of enterprise infrastructure architecture experience.
Deep hands-on expertise with IBM AIX (mandatory).
Strong experience with:
IBM Power Systems
LPARs
HMC
PowerVM
Proven experience in AIX performance tuning and system design.
Demonstrated success designing or migrating AIX workloads to IBM Cloud.
Strong background in disaster recovery architecture and planning.
Ability to assess and communicate trade-offs between on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
