Position Summary
The Industry Marketing Manager for Semiconductors turns industry strategy, customer insight, and Siemens’ portfolio strengths into focused go-to-market (GTM) priorities, differentiated messaging, executable campaign direction, and high-impact sales enablement materials. Serving as the marketing subject-matter expert for the semiconductor industry, you will connect market opportunities, customer needs, industry priorities, solution capabilities, and business objectives to create actionable strategies that accelerate awareness, engagement, pipeline creation, and revenue growth. Operating as a key integrator across industry leadership, product marketing, sales, technical experts, and implementation teams, success in this role requires both strategic industry leadership and the ability to navigate a complex, matrixed organization while maintaining a razor-sharp focus on customer relevance and business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- GTM Ownership & Evolution: Own and continuously evolve the semiconductor go-to-market intent, translating high-level strategy into clear target segments, buying groups, personas, Digital Thread and Solution Domain priorities, and campaign plans.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the industry marketing lead within cross-functional implementation. Bring customer and market relevance to delivery teams, clarify business rationale, surface dependencies and risks, and drive decisions to keep initiatives moving forward.
- Audience & Persona Strategy: Lead buyer-audience definitions and validate persona-to-topic mapping to reflect how semiconductor companies organize, buy, and transform.
- Messaging & Value Proposition: Develop and maintain industry messaging frameworks and briefs that connect customer challenges to differentiated Siemens value. Translate highly technical input into credible, outcome-led narratives for executive, technical, and operational audiences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with industry leaders, solution managers, Digital Thread Factory leads, solution/core marketers, technical experts, and sales to align solution definition, audience strategy, and messaging.
- Campaign & Content Direction: Lead integrated campaign definitions from strategy through handoff, providing complete inputs for campaign overviews, prioritized topics, audiences, imperatives, messaging, and content requirements while supporting content creators with clear strategic direction.
- Sales Enablement: Own the creation and delivery of enablement and go-to-market materials that sellers use because they map directly to real customer priorities. Customer Insight & Market Intelligence: Build a continuous feedback loop through customer conversations, sales interactions, customer advocacy, events, market research, and performance data to validate assumptions and guide investment.

- Industry Fluency: Monitor fast-moving semiconductor market and technology developments, including AI and custom silicon, EDA, software-defined development, advanced packaging, silicon photonics, fab/sub-fab digitalization, manufacturing optimization, sustainability, and supply-chain resilience.
- Governance & Execution: Resolve ambiguity, escalate gaps in ownership or portfolio readiness with clear business implications, and rigorously document decisions, trade-offs, and next steps.
- Evangelism: Represent the semiconductor industry in internal planning, executive reviews, customer engagements, and key industry forums.
- Delivery of customer-relevant messaging with the deep technical credibility required by semiconductor audiences.
- Tight, measurable alignment across industry, solution, campaign, sales, and technical stakeholders. A focused, evidence-based semiconductor campaign strategy that teams can easily understand and execute.
- High adoption of campaigns and enablement assets by sales teams due to their direct connection to real-world buyer challenges.
- A trusted, up-to-date industry point of view that adapts to market shifts and sharpens prioritization over time.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, its ecosystem, value chain, business models, buying dynamics, and technology trends.
- Technical Agility: Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and distinguish enduring customer needs from short-lived market hype.
