Software Developer / Engineer
Full time
Overview

We're looking for a hands-on full-stack software engineer who can ship production-grade web applications
across the entire stack - frontend, backend, database, deployment, and AI integration layer. You'll be
building and maintaining internal platforms that support healthcare operations, including a custom ATS,
supply chain tooling, and AI-driven workflows.
This is a builder's role. You'll own features end-to-end, from schema design to UI polish, and you'll be
expected to write secure, production-ready code from day one.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do
• Design, build, and maintain web applications using Next.js and TypeScript
• Architect and optimize relational and document databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or
MongoDB)
• Write Python services for data processing, automation, and AI/ML pipelines
• Build, monitor, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines across dev, staging, and production environments
• Integrate modern AI tooling - LlamaIndex, LangChain, LangGraph - into product features
• Work with open-source LLMs (Llama, Mistral, Qwen, etc.) including local deployment via Ollama or
similar
• Write applications that meet security best practices and pass penetration testing and
cybersecurity audits
• Collaborate on architecture, code review, and technical decisions

Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications
    • Strong production experience with Next.js and TypeScript
    • Confident across frontend and backend - you don't need a separate person to build a feature
    • Working experience with at least one of: PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or MongoDB
    • Solid Python skills for backend services and scripting
    • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Vercel, Azure DevOps, or equivalent),
including environment promotion across dev • stg • prod
    • Up-to-date knowledge of web application security - OWASP Top 10, authentication/authorization
patterns, secrets management, secure API design

Interview Process
The interview will be focused primarily on your GitHub repos. Come ready to walk us through:
  • Projects you've built end-to-end
  • Architecture decisions and tradeoffs you made
  • How you've handled auth, security, and deployment
  • AI-related work - RAG pipelines, agent workflows, model integration, etc.
  • Code quality, commit history, and how you structure projects

If your repos are private, please be prepared to share access or walk through them on screen.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with healthcare data, HIPAA compliance, or regulated environments
  • Vercel + Neon or Azure SQL deployment experience
  • Prisma or other type-safe ORM experience
  • Experience integrating with HRIS, ATS, or enterprise SaaS APIs (Paylocity, Indeed, Microsoft
    Graph, etc.)
  • Vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate)
  • Agent frameworks and MCP (Model Context Protocol) experience
