JOB PURPOSE: The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service through the
preparation and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining a clean,
safe, and efficient bar environment. This role supports food and beverage operations across
multiple outlets and locations as assigned, based on business needs

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provides guest service support across food and beverage outlets, as assigned based on business needs
- Follows, enforces, complies with, and adheres to all Omni rules, policies, procedures, standards, and recipes
- Sets up, maintains, and breaks down bar stations, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness throughout the shift
- Greets guests with a pleasant demeanor and delivers professional, courteous, and attentive service
- Takes beverage and food orders, answers menu questions, and offers recommendations and daily specials
- Prepares cocktails and beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Mixes drinks for service staff only when properly entered into the POS system
- Maintains familiarity with wine lists, beer selections, spirits, appropriate glassware, and garnishes
- Ensures consistency and quality in beverage presentation and execution
- Records all transactions accurately in the POS system and adheres to established cash-handling procedures
- Presents accurate checks to guests and processes payments in a timely manner
- Maintains knowledge of property amenities and other food and beverage outlets
- Enforces all applicable liquor liability laws and responsible alcohol service policies
- Duties, responsibilities, and work locations may change or be assigned at any time based on business needs.
- Associates may be cross trained in multiple functions or outlets to support operational efficiency and professional development
- Must be available to work varied schedules, shifts, and locations, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and different outlets as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year bartending experience
- Working knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer, including sales and presentation techniques
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, in English
- Ability to accurately and efficiently enter information into the POS system
- Strong customer service, service recovery, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and management across departments
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance
- Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and continuous use of hands and arms
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, including entire shifts
- Work may occur in indoor and outdoor environments
