For recent college graduates taking a gap year
The Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, Palm Beach County, is accepting applications for its 2026-2027 E.A.G.L.E. Fellowship Program (Enhancing and Guiding Legal Education).
If you have an interest in attending law school but are unsure exactly what a legal career looks like, then this is the opportunity for you! The Palm Beach County Clerk's Office wants to work with college graduates who will be applying to law school, but who are not yet certain about their future career plans.
The Clerk's Office will provide a year-long 20 hour per week paid position for up to three motivated individuals (starting in late August/early September). During this fellowship, you will learn about the various areas of law (including criminal, civil, family, and traffic) with work assignments that may include: providing assistance to self-represented litigants, serving as a courtroom administrator in small claims court, checking in at criminal court, and working in the Legal Department.
Fellows will be paid $16.00/hour.
