JOB OVERVIEW:
The Benefits Specialist supports the Health and Well-being (H&W) benefit programs. As a member of the benefits team, this individual will work closely with the total rewards service center, payroll, various vendors, team members and other company departments to ensure plan administration is in compliance with the plans and various regulations.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Assist with state and federal compliance filings such as 5500s, ACA 1094/1095, etc.
-Monitor vendor billing by conducting analysis to ensure accuracy and tracking payments
-Administer enrollment for onsite fitness center and retiree medical plan
-Oversee commuter benefit program for hourly team members
-Create communications for corporate new hires and transfers
-Review weekly discrepancy reports and correct errors
-Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-Experience in a role that includes customer service and research assignments
-Knowledgeable in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
-Strong organizational and communication skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
-High School diploma, Some College, Bachelor's Degree
-1+ year of equivalent experience
